My Story

I used to joke that I had never been hired for a job I was qualified for. Each
employment opportunity challenged me to adapt existing skills and learn new ones
in order to quickly gain competency in new fields.
Under the title of organizational specialist, I worked with over 50 different entities
to create systems that would help them thrive. In some cases it was as simple as
organizing the closets and scanning all of the files into a digital system. In other
cases, I manned the phones, kept track of paperwork deadlines, and anticipated
the needs of a new business founder. I obtained my paralegal certification through
University of North Texas so that I could expand further in the legal field. Since
moving to Austin I have had an opportunity to work one on one with many talented
attorneys in the Austin area and further solidify my understanding of small
business needs.
I went back to school again to obtain a Bachelors of Business Administration in
Accounting and I am excited to be entering the stage in my career where my
variety professional experiences are starting to come together to form a cohesive
specialty. I understand the needs of small businesses and have the knowledge
necessary to meet those needs. The biggest issue I come across is that business
owners know they need help but they cannot clearly define what help is needed.
The solution is to hire an intuitive thinker who can quickly learn everything about
you and your company and then use that knowledge to take care of needs before
they become problems.
